Kalimba-Maple

Maple is a moderately hard wood with a fine, even grain. It has a moderate density, making it an excellent material for musical instruments due to its resonant properties. Kalimbas made from maple produce a clear, bright, and penetrating sound, making them ideal for playing rhythmic pieces. Additionally, the beautiful grain of maple adds a natural aesthetic appeal to the instrument.   

However, as maple has a relatively lower density compared to some other woods, the low-end frequencies of maple kalimbas may be slightly less pronounced.
