If your kalimba keys show large stains due to oxidation, wipe them first with a cloth dampened with warm water, then use polishing wax to remove the stains.
We apply maintenance oil to the kalimba keys before shipping, and the white spots are normal oil deposits. We recommend gently wiping them off with a cloth and some Axe Brand Universal Oil or Feng You Jing.
The kalimba requires proper care to prevent damage from dryness or humidity. Maintain appropriate humidity, avoid direct sunlight, and clean the keys regularly to prevent rust.
